Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chris Draxl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Oswald in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chris Draxl saved SK Fenerbahce Wien from getting behind. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandros Matsinopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes Hertha 1969's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thodoris Charalambakis who took care of the corner kick. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Thodoris Charalambakis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rune Jarstein in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Chris Draxl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Oswald in the 14th minute of play. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandros Matsinopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Alexandros Matsinopoulos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein. Rune Jarstein was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chris Draxl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Hertha 1969's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emilio Melzer in the 29th minute. After taking down the ball on Hertha 1969's corner Emilio Melzer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chris Draxl quite easily take care of the ball. Chris Draxl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Chris Draxl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Wilhelm Nienhaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 46 minutes of play, SK Fenerbahce Wien's Alexandros Matsinopoulos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandros Matsinopoulos was the one to do the kick off. Chris Draxl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. SK Fenerbahce Wien's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Melzer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandros Matsinopoulos in the 65th minute of play. Wilhelm Nienhaus succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Hertha 1969's Rupert Heidingsfelder was substituted for Wilhelm Nienhaus. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandros Matsinopoulos in the 72nd minute of the match. Rupert Heidingsfelder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
