In the 14th match minute, Cascade Park West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldo Renteria to maneuver through the defense. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Elodio in the 15th minute of the match. Dario Wilhelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Elodio in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s zone, Waldo Renteria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andriy Lunin came out of the goal and Waldo Renteria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Brzakala. The corner led SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Nemanja Vidić to fire away a dangerous shot which Dario Wilhelm despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The corner ended in Toralf Hell almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm did a great save. After the first half SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Andriy Lunin came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cascade Park West's Waldo Renteria. But to his dismay, Waldo Renteria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cascade Park West's Amir Lee got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. made a substitution. Chen Zhen replaced Steffen Michalsky. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldo Renteria in the 61st minute of play forced SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Dexter Benton. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cascade Park West from getting a goal against them. Eustaquio Brufau hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Elodio. Cascade Park West's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
