Thodoris Charalambakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Waud De Geyter made a huge save. Waud De Geyter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandros Matsinopoulos in the 23rd minute. In the 55th minute of the match, Loid De Keuster tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Chris Draxl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, SK Fenerbahce Wien's Chris Draxl got control of the ball when Damazy Radzyminski tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eike Hörtnagel in the 81st minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes Silver Squad AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thodoris Charalambakis who took care of the corner kick. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Eike Hörtnagel got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frans Van Caubergen in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chris Draxl, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Silver Squad AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
