In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Denimir Tzonkov notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denimir Tzonkov in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waud De Geyter saved Silver Squad AFC from getting behind. In the 27th minute VN BAKITO were awarded a corner. Blagoy Banovski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Blagoy Banovski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter did a great save. The audience was convinced that Denimir Tzonkov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waud De Geyter was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Henrik Ooms was slow to take the kick. During this time Silver Squad AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Silver Squad AFC's Henrik Ooms to fire away a dangerous shot which Ruslan Rúklyov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 38th minute, Mehmet Bedri Vuralhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loid De Keuster's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruslan Rúklyov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denimir Tzonkov in the 42nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Denimir Tzonkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. VN BAKITO's supporters rose to their feet, but Denimir Tzonkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waud De Geyter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Mehmet Bedri Vuralhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After 50 minutes, Rogério Paiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Squad AFC and the VN BAKITO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Silver Squad AFC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Waud De Geyter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VN BAKITO. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind VN BAKITO's goalkeeper Ruslan Rúklyov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusi Plochev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerasim Berberov came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
