In the 27th minute, Dida Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. DENVER™'s attentive Manfredo do Nascimento managed to snatch the ball when Olav Graversen made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Márcio Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Márcio Guedes saved DENVER™ from getting behind. After 39 minutes, Caio de Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DENVER™ and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Márcio Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertram Svenningsen's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Chris Nygaard made a precise shot to the right of Márcio Guedes. DENVER™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 47th minute, Mikkel Wulff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dida Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Márcio Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Guedes having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Denmark's Chris Nygaard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Márcio Guedes was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 92ndth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DENVER™'s Márcio Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The DENVER™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
