Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferhat Uğuş having to make a save. In the 22nd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferhat Uğuş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, ÇALIMLI's goalkeeper Ferhat Uğuş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind ÇALIMLI's goalkeeper Ferhat Uğuş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferhat Uğuş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 59th minute of the match. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferhat Uğuş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Pål Stensson in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Germany's Albin Holweck. 73 minutes into the match, ÇALIMLI's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Ferhat Uğuş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Leon van Persie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ÇALIMLI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon van Persie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon van Persie in the 80th minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ferhat Uğuş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Germany eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
