GORNIK PIASKI's Marc-André Van Bastén was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mariusz Nalaskowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fodor Daniel could save by the left post. GORNIK PIASKI's Boguslaw Zawaski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Marc-André Van Bastén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Boguslaw Zawaski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boguslaw Zawaski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee ignored GORNIK PIASKI's protests and gave Hong Yi De a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Hong Yi De hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boguslaw Zawaski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boguslaw Zawaski quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marc-André Van Bastén's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Marc-André Van Bastén sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc-André Van Bastén in the 65th minute of the match. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc-André Van Bastén was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
