With a little luck, Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic got control of the ball when Policarpio Trarigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Borjan Golubovic kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Serbia defense, Policarpio Trarigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. The Serbia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zvezdan Nedeljkovic should have stopped the shot. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Policarpio Trarigo in the 19th minute. The Burnelid fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Burnelid's Policarpio Trarigo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Policarpio Trarigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. The nice shot from Policarpio Trarigo in the 39thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 40th minute, Michal Michek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Palas, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Borjan Golubovic got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Podhorný came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sreten Popovic stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klement Hyska, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Michal Michek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Michal Michek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klement Hyska went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Michal Michek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michal Michek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. Jovan Borisov kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Jiří Nepraš sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic didn't even have to move. 95 minutes in the game Leopold Matějček did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Policarpio Trarigo. After a defensive mix-up in Serbia's zone, Klement Hyska stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal and Klement Hyska tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Burnelid fully deserved thier win.
