Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manilan Monterrey started the match with the kick off. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grzegorz Szamotulski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Gürol Yengi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fu Yong Ling in the 11th minute of play. Grzegorz Szamotulski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Szamotulski. Grzegorz Szamotulski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Manilan Monterrey sent off a good shot on target. Grzegorz Szamotulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Krivé hnáty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislav Beňo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Krivé hnáty's Grzegorz Szamotulski did a great save. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fu Yong Ling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fu Yong Ling in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Krivé hnáty's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Krivé hnáty's Fu Yong Ling got a free kick in the 38th minute. A collision led to Krivé hnáty getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rubens Seco hit a great ball. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Fu Yong Ling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grzegorz Szamotulski having to make a save. In the 63rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grzegorz Szamotulski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wim Wilmes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 70 minute of play. Gürol Yengi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürol Yengi, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The corner led Netherlands's Wim Wilmes to fire away a dangerous shot which Grzegorz Szamotulski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Grzegorz Szamotulski. Grzegorz Szamotulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 81st minute of play. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Krivé hnáty's Grzegorz Szamotulski got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 92 played minutes Krivé hnáty got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Beňo. Krivé hnáty's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Wim Wilmes scored to the left of an out of position Grzegorz Szamotulski, making the score, 0-6. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
