Beto Cavalcante made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kléberson Camargo. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Acácio Neto sent off a good shot on target. After 7 minutes of play, France's Camille Baume made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edson Bertassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of France booed when Carrapichel - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edson Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 23rd minute of play. David Fernandes's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Carrapichel - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by David Fernandes. In the 26th minute, Rogério Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edson Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 28th minute of the match. Edson Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 32nd minute of play forced Carrapichel - FDFDF's goalkeeper Edson Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Maxence Durand put in a rough tackle. After 38 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Maxence Durand. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Oséias de Brito was substituted for Abel de Barros. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Acácio Neto went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Robert Chapuis's late challenge caught a Carrapichel - FDFDF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Chapuis helped the player get up and apologised. 77 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Neto came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Neto scored 3-3 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Peletier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edson Bertassi. That made the score 3-4 in the 84 minute of play. In the 90th minute, Camille Baume left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-5. 95 minutes into the game, Quentin Beaux was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. France's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrapichel - FDFDF the free kick. 95 minutes into the game, one of France:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Maxime Durand went to the wrong direction when Rogério Alcântara was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match was over France could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carrapichel - FDFDF throughout the match.
