Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Antal Valentin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Uwe-Jens Röttger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Uwe-Jens Röttger came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uwe-Jens Röttger couldn't finish the play. The 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Uwe-Jens Röttger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Heinz-Gerd Bonin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin managed to reach the ball for a save. Uwe-Jens Röttger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel was a little too slow when Uwe-Jens Röttger got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 39th minute, Balazs Lajos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Heinz-Gerd Bonin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Timos Karabelas hit a great ball. Heinz-Gerd Bonin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uwe-Jens Röttger was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uwe-Jens Röttger in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heinz-Gerd Bonin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balazs Lajos in the 60th minute. Heinz-Gerd Bonin made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe-Jens Röttger came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heinz-Gerd Bonin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Heinz-Gerd Bonin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Andras Gafus got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Andras Gafus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heinz-Gerd Bonin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balazs Lajos went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After 94 minutes, Timos Karabelas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. With his leg Heinz-Gerd Bonin managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Hungary's Major Barna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
