John Wiberg started the match with the kick off. The throw-in from Olav Graversen in the 2nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Juoksengi's Billy Oja. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Wiberg in the 3rd minute of the match. Bjarne Kirkegaard's late challenge caught a Juoksengi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjarne Kirkegaard helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Juoksengi booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. If John Wiberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juoksengi's Jan-Olof Vacker managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Theis Winther in the 23 minute of the game. The audience was convinced that John Wiberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Juoksengi were furious when Nicanor Osoro was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 26 minutes into the game, one of Juoksengi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Denmark. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. Juoksengi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eric Mikaelsson in the 56th minute. A nice corner shot did that Karl-Erik Magnusson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 58 minutes into the match, Juoksengi's John Wiberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes in the game Billy Oja did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jan-Olof Vacker. John Wiberg succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Karl-Erik Magnusson kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Juoksengi's John Wiberg got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bjarne Kirkegaard kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Juoksengi's Eric Mikaelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the match, Bertram Svenningsen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roland Lindström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Chris Nygaard was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 83rdth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juoksengi's Roland Lindström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Denmark's Lars Steen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Billy Oja in the 89 minute of the game. Chris Nygaard hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Karl-Erik Magnusson scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bjarne Kirkegaard was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Juoksengi could leave the field as winners, despite Denmark having more of the ball for most of the match.
