Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ovidiu Spirea took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halkus Valkus BK the free kick. In the 4th minute, Nick Usel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnout Reekers. The goal made the score 1-0. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Spirea got free with Arnout Reekers in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcellus Baumann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Sune Sjöberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Patrick Sander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gust Ennemans hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcellus Baumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Sune Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcellus Baumann having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Usel in the 39th minute of play. Nicolas Tantholt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nick Usel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 52nd minute of play forced Halkus Valkus BK's goalkeeper Marcellus Baumann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Åke Håkansson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcellus Baumann came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 53rd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halkus Valkus BK's Marcellus Baumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 59th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 60th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Halkus Valkus BK's goalie and right to Lars Meesters. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Halkus Valkus BK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Marcellus Baumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 63rd minute of play. Halkus Valkus BK's Marcellus Baumann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Halkus Valkus BK from getting a goal against them. Marcellus Baumann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 71st minute. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Sander kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Marcellus Baumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 86th minute of play. Marcellus Baumann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 88th minute of the match. Marcellus Baumann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Klas Fransson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Halkus Valkus BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
