Berkem Heybetli started the match with the kick off. Åke Utter was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Tomé Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bill Fitzpatrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to FC NILS getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Geva Lia hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Åke Utter. The goal made the score 2-0. After 27 minutes ASD Real Molinella 1911's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Berkem Heybetli who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC NILS's Berkem Heybetli to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomé Montenegro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the game's 27th minute FC NILS's Berkem Heybetli took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Tomé Montenegro and thus the score was 3-1. When FC NILS's Bill Fitzpatrick in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ASD Real Molinella 1911's goalie prevented a goal. After taking down the ball on FC NILS's corner Berkem Heybetli fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomé Montenegro quite easily take care of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, FC NILS's Bill Fitzpatrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Montenegro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Åke Utter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund in the 41st minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Amos Sciarra put in a rough tackle. In the 42nd minute, one of ASD Real Molinella 1911:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ASD Real Molinella 1911. Tomé Montenegro had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Berkem Heybetli's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tsinamdzghvrishvili Højlund made the kick off in the second half. Americo Portas made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ASD Real Molinella 1911's Segundo Balaunde. Kenny Isaksson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Alex Pasin managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASD Real Molinella 1911's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Pasin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åke Utter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Renato Chaves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. ASD Real Molinella 1911 made a substitution. Sandro Coisne replaced Elia Santangelo. If Kléber Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renato Chaves scored 5-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Utter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC NILS's goalkeeper Åke Utter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6-1 became the score in the 96th minute when Renato Chaves elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC NILS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
