Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Metod Mlynar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Roma's zone, Oliver Holub stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Achille Cammarota came out of the goal and Oliver Holub tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrich Slany stood somewhat misplaced when Anthony Mammarella came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. Domenico Pedrelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Slany having to interfere. When Metod Mlynar came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metod Mlynar couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Metod Mlynar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slovakia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Anthony Mammarella in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henrich Slany, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The throw-in from Ernesto Bassani in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Slovakia's Kornel Jahoda. Oliver Holub might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Achille Cammarota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Holub ran back to his position shaking his head. Achille Cammarota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metod Mlynar, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Metod Mlynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adriano Venditti got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Beppe Di Cintio. In the 39th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Cammarota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vít Biskup fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Vít Biskup a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Vít Biskup hit a great ball. In the 41st minute of the match Ernesto Pazienza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrich Slany skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Oliver Holub got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Anthony Mammarella made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Beppe Di Cintio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the match, Metod Mlynar notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Atletico Roma's Achille Cammarota. Achille Cammarota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, Atletico Roma's goalkeeper Achille Cammarota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metod Mlynar. Atletico Roma's Achille Cammarota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Roma from getting a goal against them. Metod Mlynar's late challenge caught a Atletico Roma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Metod Mlynar helped the player get up and apologised. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Mammarella, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
