The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes in the game Ziemowit Debkowski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eugeniusz Cwojdak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Carlos in the 6th minute of play forced Fc Śrem Team's goalkeeper Christian Zangari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Wiktor Bejrut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Zangari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fc Śrem Team's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Wiktor Bejrut scored to the left of an out of position Christian Zangari, making the score, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, FC Rogers Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariasz Maziarz came free, but Slavyan Gusev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Eugeniusz Cwojdak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Zangari. Fc Śrem Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Cwojdak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. FC Rogers Sosnowiec's Slavyan Gusev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachariasz Maziarz in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Roberto Carlos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Zangari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugeniusz Cwojdak in the 24th minute. Slavyan Gusev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachariasz Maziarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Zangari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Jakubiak in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachariasz Maziarz in the 28th minute of play forced FC Rogers Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Slavyan Gusev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiktor Bejrut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Śrem Team's goalkeeper Christian Zangari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Fc Śrem Team's goal looked a bit too open when Eugeniusz Cwojdak came free, but Christian Zangari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fc Śrem Team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiktor Bejrut in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Zangari saved Fc Śrem Team from getting behind. After 85 minutes, Wiktor Bejrut made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Fc Śrem Team's Christian Zangari tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Fc Śrem Team defense, Roberto Carlos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Zangari. The Fc Śrem Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Zangari should have stopped the shot. After 90 played minutes Fc Śrem Team got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Malik. Slavyan Gusev made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Wasyl Malik sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute, Eugeniusz Cwojdak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Zangari was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-2.
