KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Rocendo in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Apolo Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Stelian Joldea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Siwek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match, Stelian Joldea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boguslaw Siwek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hieronim Winszman made in the 25th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dagmar Zupančič immediately put the ball in play. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Gaufred in the 30th minute of the match. Lorenzo Rocendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tomasz Piwko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Powiśle Warszawa's goalkeeper Boguslaw Siwek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariusz Zgonina. After a rather tough play, Powiśle Warszawa's Radomir Lato got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Apolo Beltza struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Boguslaw Siwek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Piastów Sosnowiec. In the 45th minute, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Stelian Joldea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Powiśle Warszawa made a substitution. Miroslaw Drab replaced Fabiano Pietrini.
