A4p FC Gad were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after 1948 MKS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcin Pachucki took the corner. When A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 1948 MKS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th minute, Marcin Pachucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Purcărete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. James Batistuta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ter Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen got control of the ball when Daniel Löfgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Batistuta in the 34th minute of play. Torrey Molloy kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Daniel Löfgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ter Stegen. 1948 MKS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Löfgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by 1948 MKS's Rigan Frankson. But to his dismay, Rigan Frankson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cătălin Răduleț hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Torrey Molloy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when James Batistuta made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Löfgren came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Löfgren in the 54th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beagan Colwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Fyfe having to interfere. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Löfgren in the 59th minute of the match. King Scorpio hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes A4p FC Gad got a freekick which was hit by King Scorpio. Glenn Fyfe was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Rigan Frankson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rigan Frankson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Purcărete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes of play, A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ter Stegen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 72 played minutes A4p FC Gad got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Damião. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Cândroveanu in the 76th minute of play. Glenn Fyfe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torrey Molloy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Purcărete in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Gică Busuioc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Purcărete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ter Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Busuioc came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavius Cândroveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Busuioc, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gică Busuioc in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
