Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Real Södertälje's Bennvar Nickler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Real Södertälje's Bennvar Nickler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Real Södertälje's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Baraxil Sarrate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baraxil Sarrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 18th minute of the match. The throw-in from Ralf Björk in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Zena Busacca. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseo Cutri in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Södertälje's Ralf Björk. Gianpaolo Mascari made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Siricio Liotta immediately put the ball in play. After taking down the ball on Real Södertälje's corner Reynaldo Cerezo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavio Vittori quite easily take care of the ball. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Nickler, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Baraxil Sarrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Bennvar Nickler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Baraxil Sarrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Ralf Björk threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zena Busacca hit a great ball. When Reynaldo Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Södertälje's protests and gave Reynaldo Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. Real Södertälje made a substitution. Rikard Wolff replaced Bennvar Nickler. The supporters of Italy booed when Real Södertälje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Baraxil Sarrate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Åke Wickander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baraxil Sarrate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sigfrido Auletta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Jarkko Tuovinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yu Feng Ning hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The corner led to Italy's Zaccheo Andolina getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baraxil Sarrate saved Real Södertälje from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Porziano Marchitelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Baraxil Sarrate however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Wolff in the 78th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Baraxil Sarrate in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Italy's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Real Södertälje had won, even though Italy had held more of the ball.
