Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chico de Sousa took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chico de Sousa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Chico de Sousa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Chico de Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jerome Rohrer sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 26th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Rohrer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. When Jovens Democratas MZC's Jerome Rohrer in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Mümtazer Kutlan. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Chiquinho das Neves got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Lenzi in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Rohrer in the 51st minute of play. Leonardo Guerra hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Dalmo Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 59th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico de Sousa in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dalmo Saldanha got in the way and made a wonderful save. After having played for 67 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's Laerte Bittencourt was substituted for Chiquinho das Neves. 75 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Lenzi came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Loureiro in the 77th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Marcus Paes. But to his dismay, Marcus Paes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Dalmo Saldanha came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Lars Meesters. But to his dismay, Lars Meesters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. In the 86th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Silas Gerber got a free kick in the 88th minute. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Jovens Democratas MZC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Lenzi in the 95th minute of play.
