An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st minute of play forced ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ's goalkeeper Agah Çeliktaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gökçe Helvacı's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 26th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ's goalkeeper Agah Çeliktaş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Roberto Carlos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The tension between the Netherlands and the ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ players grew even worse after the yellow card. 65 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Agah Çeliktaş, 1-1. 70 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ's Agah Çeliktaş. Agah Çeliktaş was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agah Çeliktaş having to interfere. ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ's Agah Çeliktaş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 88th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agah Çeliktaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
