Norbert Grondzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilberto Gai was slow to take the kick. During this time FusbalClub Swietochlowice's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cory Trevor got free with Fodor Daniel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jan Bednarek fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FusbalClub Swietochlowice's protests and gave Jan Bednarek a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when FusbalClub Swietochlowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Bednarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cory Trevor kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Norbert Grondzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 52nd minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Owsiak in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Hegedus Henrik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. FusbalClub Swietochlowice made a substitution. Igor Glozor replaced Gilberto Gai. When FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Igor Glozor in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Cholewa in the 85th minute of the match. Norbert Grondzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 89th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Cholewa in the 90th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Norbert Grondzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save FusbalClub Swietochlowice from getting a goal against them. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
