Fedot Khokhlov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. After the first half Belgium were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Niewiadomski in the 51st minute of play. The AS TRIGGER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Veniamin Hvoinskiy in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Veniamin Hvoinskiy made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. AS TRIGGER's Veniamin Hvoinskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save AS TRIGGER from getting a goal against them. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
