An unexpectedly hard shot by Pere Jordi Osorez in the 15th minute of play forced Húsares's goalkeeper Fabio Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelio Marambio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksymilian Wydrych, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eufrasio Najera made the kick off in the second half. When Florencio Ferran came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Húsares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Ferran couldn't finish the play. Danél Pincheira kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Teobaldo Ibon sped through Deportes Vαldiviα's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adelio Marambio.
