A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konstantin Perfilov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Perfilov in the 53rd minute of the match. Nikolay Groholskiy thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ernesto Paganelli, a very annoying self made goal in the 60th minute which led to 2-2. With an all-out effort, Hungary's Ernesto Paganelli threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Takacs Tibor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
