Full Fart Framåt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pontus Sellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 7th minute of play. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pierre Barda in the 8th minute of play. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pontus Sellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Full Fart Framåt's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Pontus Sellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pontus Sellberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jean-Pierre Barda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Pontus Sellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Yves Dervaux left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Henriksson in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Belgium were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jean-Pierre Barda to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Pontus Sellberg in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pontus Sellberg made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. After 62 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Sander Dermaut. Sander Dermaut hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute Derek Cooke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pontus Sellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Dervaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Yves Dervaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Pontus Sellberg made a huge save. Pontus Sellberg made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Primitivo Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Pontus Sellberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 79th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pontus Sellberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. The throw-in from Primitivo Oihenarte in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Belgium's Nigel Devos. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Lenny Clocheret took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Pontus Sellberg to make any attempt to save it. The Full Fart Framåt fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Belgium were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
