Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Tauro went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Club Atlético Escocia's Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 14th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Jonas Tauro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 28 minutes into the game, Germany's Albin Holweck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jonas Tauro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes in the game Chris Mergenthaler did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Frank Sachs. Chris Mergenthaler made in the 40th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Frank Sachs however managed to control. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's Marciano Caton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Anastasio Gagriel kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Caton in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marciano Caton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Tauro in the 57th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Luken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atlético Escocia made a substitution. Leonel Caponi replaced Fergus León. 68 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Albin Holweck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri. That made the score 2-2 in the 69 minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Leonel Caponi notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Atlético Escocia's Cristo Lizer was substituted for Clemente Oroitz. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marciano Caton was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Escocia's players had a chance to rest. If Evelio Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto-Carlos Abbondanzieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Justin Tello hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Cristo Lizer with Mauricio Luken as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 94 minutes into the game, Jonas Tauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
