Cipriano Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Franky Dhondt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Franky Dhondt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17thth minute of the game Franky Dhondt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franky Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franky Dhondt. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Kenn Skou got a free kick in the 20th minute. Franky Dhondt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Franky Dhondt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Keld Paulsen. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franky Dhondt got free with Keld Paulsen in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Franky Dhondt came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Cardo Ruso Cordobés fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franky Dhondt couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes Franky Dhondt could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 4-0 into the left cross. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franky Dhondt in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keld Paulsen saved Denmark from getting behind. Mateo Calisto hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. Franky Dhondt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Søren Sørendorf made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Franky Dhondt immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mathias Ludvigsen hit a great ball. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franky Dhondt in the 60th minute of play. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franky Dhondt went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Nando Maidana made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bennvar Back however managed to control. In the 80th minute, Bennvar Back ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Urtungo in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Bennvar Back notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 89 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Kenn Skou. In the 92nd minute, Bennvar Back ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 95th minute, Bennvar Back got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denmark's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
