Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzhan Apaydın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzhan Apaydın in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Kuzeyin Çocukları FK got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afşar Üke ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Kuzeyin Çocukları FK's Ferman Sadan to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Emanuel Garcia heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 26th minute Oğuzhan Apaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oğuzhan Apaydın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Afşar Üke came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. A collision led to Kuzeyin Çocukları FK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Yusuf Bahadır Sönmezalp hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the game, Malte Schiele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kuzeyin Çocukları FK the free kick. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Atıf Işılay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 70th minute. The supporters of Germany booed when Kuzeyin Çocukları FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf Bahadır Sönmezalp didn't get a good kick on the ball.
