Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stan Pitre hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jules Barrett in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Denis Redd was slow to take the kick. During this time Azzurri FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Azzurri FC's Denis Redd to fire away a dangerous shot which Tommy Kahn despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Tello. Jules Barrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Carlos Tello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azzurri FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denis Redd took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Denis Redd got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Azzurri FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Denis Redd in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Azzurri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Loramendi Valdivia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janik Vogt to maneuver through the defense. If Jules Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Jules Barrett reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jules Barrett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Azzurri FC's Loramendi Valdivia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 54th minute of play. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 55th minute. A nice corner shot did that Frank Sachs got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Loramendi Valdivia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Loramendi Valdivia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Schiele in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Azzurri FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosario Cardona in the 59th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Germany:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Azzurri FC:s goal. Azzurri FC's Loramendi Valdivia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Azzurri FC's Wally Lécuyer got a free kick in the 69th minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosario Cardona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Azzurri FC's Rosario Cardona, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Azzurri FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Loramendi Valdivia in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Azzurri FC's goalkeeper Loramendi Valdivia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azzurri FC's goalkeeper Loramendi Valdivia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Tello in the 92nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Azzurri FC fully deserved thier win.
