Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sérgio Monteiro had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malte Schiele during the 12th minute. The audience was convinced that Sérgio Monteiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sérgio Monteiro in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Denis Man scored 6-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Sosnowe Klimaty getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Wladyslaw Obuchowicz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Monteiro in the 66th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sérgio Monteiro in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute Sérgio Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sosnowe Klimaty's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Szymon Grajewski in the 74th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Germany's goalie and right to Czeslaw Cwynar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Germany's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Sosnowe Klimaty's Czeslaw Cwynar got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Sérgio Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sosnowe Klimaty had played much better football throughout.
