After 6th play minutes Leendert Looze shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Marco Santo and just under the crossbar into goal. Faustino Rencio was a little too slow when Isauro Sota got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-1. Marco Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Estevez in the 13th minute of play. Marco Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Marco Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Estevez went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Marco Santo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leendert Looze's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Faustino Rencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermengildo Iruinea went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute of the match Los Golosos got a corner. Morteros's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Denis Intxixu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Los Golosos's Han Xiang Ang to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Santo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marco Santo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Estevez's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morteros's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Denis Intxixu was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Golosos's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Morteros's goalie and right to Aquilino Arnau. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Morteros's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isauro Sota was the one to do the kick off. Marco Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leendert Looze went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Leendert Looze ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leendert Looze got free with Marco Santo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot by Denis Intxixu from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Marco Santo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Morteros's Isauro Sota in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Golosos's goalie prevented a goal. Los Golosos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
