It was a well-played corner which Jāzeps Pics managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Artūrs Sagalats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SK Annenieki's Artūrs Sagalats in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 35th match minute, SK Annenieki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drosmis Kalnaiza to maneuver through the defense. The corner led SK Annenieki's Reinholds Jaunzems to fire away a dangerous shot which Antoni Walaszkiewicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofil Rzegotka was the one to do the kick off. Reinholds Jaunzems's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Walaszkiewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play.
