Atilla Açıkalın started the match with the kick off. Atilla Açıkalın scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell Sjöö, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Batıkan Muhsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Açıkalın in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC booed when Curiphila Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. 狄珂益 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö got control of the ball when Ulf Bokelund tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Napoleon Podolski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell Sjöö made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Atilla Açıkalın ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjell Sjöö was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 25 played minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC got a freekick which was hit by Kurtuluş Senih. 狄珂益 kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Sjöö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Vihonský came free, but Batıkan Muhsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilla Açıkalın blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjell Sjöö having to make a save. In the 34th minute Atilla Açıkalın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Açıkalın, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Bernardo Sasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Sasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell Sjöö was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agamenón do Nascimento in the 42nd minute of play. Kjell Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Bokelund in the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Vihonský to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Curiphila Eagles defense, Atilla Açıkalın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjell Sjöö. The Curiphila Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell Sjöö should have stopped the shot. Kjell Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Açıkalın in the 56th minute of play. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khaidir Sopandi in the 58th minute of play. Atilla Açıkalın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Sjöö having to interfere. Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 65th minute of play. Curiphila Eagles made a substitution. Nico Cunha replaced 尤奕景. A nice corner shot did that Mustafa İzzet Hazer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kjell Sjöö quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Kjell Sjöö, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kjell Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Açıkalın in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Atilla Açıkalın made a precise shot to the right of Kjell Sjöö. Curiphila Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC made a substitution. Kasper Häll replaced Atilla Açıkalın. In the 83rdth minute of the game Kasper Häll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kasper Häll's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Sjöö read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th match minute, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agamenón do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Kasper Häll sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Sjöö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kjell Sjöö came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Kasper Häll. But to his dismay, Kasper Häll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 96th match minute, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurtuluş Senih to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Curiphila Eagles players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC.
