Inter Gala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jāzeps Pics was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Eduardo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indris Tomass in the 7th minute of play. Eduardo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artūrs Sagalats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Baiano was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Artūrs Sagalats capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artūrs Sagalats really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Eduardo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artūrs Sagalats in the 16th minute of play. After 19 played minutes SK Annenieki got a freekick which was hit by Mareks Belis. Edgar Souto hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artūrs Sagalats in the 25th minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Baiano was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Indris Tomass capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Indris Tomass really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artūrs Sagalats in the 31st minute of play. SK Annenieki were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Inter Gala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reinholds Jaunzems took the corner. With a little luck, Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano got control of the ball when Drosmis Kalnaiza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute SK Annenieki were awarded a corner. Reinholds Jaunzems went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Reinholds Jaunzems almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano did a great save. In the 42nd match minute, Inter Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Brasil to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goal looked a bit too open when Reinholds Jaunzems came free, but Eduardo Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jānis Lielais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Mendonça in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Rodrigues made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Jāzeps Pics got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Jāzeps Pics cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Eduardo Baiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute of the match, Jaime Rodrigues tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jānis Lielais saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th minute Artūrs Sagalats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Ribeiro came free, but Jānis Lielais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artūrs Sagalats in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Baiano saved Inter Gala from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goal looked a bit too open when Heinz Stalder came free, but Jānis Lielais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jāzeps Pics in the 73rd minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Mendonça in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jānis Lielais saved SK Annenieki from getting behind. Eduardo Baiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jāzeps Pics's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Edgar Souto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jānis Lielais was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, SK Annenieki's goal looked a bit too open when Heinz Stalder came free, but Jānis Lielais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artūrs Sagalats, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the last second Jānis Lielais throw himself and got hold of the ball when Heinz Stalder in the 96thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.
