Atilla Açıkalın might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jānis Lielais. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilla Açıkalın ran back to his position shaking his head. SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 11th minute of play. Batıkan Muhsin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artūrs Sagalats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Batıkan Muhsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jāzeps Pics in the 23rd minute of play. Jānis Lielais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 31st minute. After 35 played minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzalp Yetiş. When Atilla Açıkalın came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atilla Açıkalın couldn't finish the play. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after SK Annenieki's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oğuzalp Yetiş took the corner. After taking down the ball on Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's corner Oğuzalp Yetiş fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jānis Lielais quite easily take care of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Açıkalın in the 53rd minute of play. Jāzeps Pics could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Batıkan Muhsin made a huge save. Atilla Açıkalın took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jānis Lielais. Jānis Lielais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 61 minutes into the game, Atilla Açıkalın cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jānis Lielais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the match, Atilla Açıkalın had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jānis Lielais. SK Annenieki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilla Açıkalın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jānis Lielais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Açıkalın, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladislav Trúpchev during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Vladislav Trúpchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Atilla Açıkalın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jānis Lielais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kasper Häll's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jānis Lielais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Jānis Lielais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper Häll in the 83rd minute of the match. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Gunnar Fridli was substituted for Agamenón do Nascimento. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by SK Annenieki's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hasan Tahsin Polatalp was slow to take the kick. During this time Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's players had a chance to rest. Mustafa İzzet Hazer made a great header on Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's corner, it was just that SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais managed to reach the ball for a save. Jānis Lielais came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Mustafa İzzet Hazer. But to his dismay, Mustafa İzzet Hazer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After having played for 91 minutes, Kasper Häll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kasper Häll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jānis Lielais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kasper Häll went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew the final whistle, Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC could leave the field as winners, despite SK Annenieki having more of the ball for most of the match.
