In the 2nd minute, Killian Fischer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Clarence Seedorf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Ritchie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oséias Palmeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Ritchie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Ovidio Ritchie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Palmeira in the 11th minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund MZB were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after PoWer SC 2K5's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clarence Seedorf took the corner. Cui Qian Jun was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ovidio Ritchie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Palmeira in the 15th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Oséias Palmeira made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Ritchie. PoWer SC 2K5's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Oséias Palmeira scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Ritchie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbie Klank in the 28th minute of the match. Angelo Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Magath, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 33 minutes, Oséias Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund MZB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséias Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oséias Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Fabian Magath got a free kick in the 40th minute. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Oséias Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Borussia Dortmund MZB were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Magath stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oséias Palmeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ovidio Ritchie made a huge save. After 61 minutes PoWer SC 2K5's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clarence Seedorf who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Clarence Seedorf almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PoWer SC 2K5's Ovidio Ritchie did a great save. Oséias Palmeira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Ovidio Ritchie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Gernando Pernambucano was substituted for Oséias Palmeira. After 73 minutes PoWer SC 2K5's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Clarence Seedorf who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Dante Hever got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidio Ritchie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Magath in the 74th minute of play. Ovidio Ritchie made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Gernando Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Gernando Pernambucano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ovidio Ritchie, 0-3. Gernando Pernambucanos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Ovidio Ritchie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Angelo Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gernando Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ovidio Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Borussia Dortmund MZB supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Borussia Dortmund MZB would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
