Åke Fors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Anıl Baran Uslu made a huge save. Sebastian Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Hulberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kukova United's Anıl Baran Uslu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Håkansson in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavol Halko in the 18th minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Sebastian Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavol Halko, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Marek Macko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavol Halko in the 36th minute of the match. If Åke Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavol Halko in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Sandberg saved Degerfors IF from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Pavol Halko put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sebastian Sandberg. In the 42nd minute Leonard Christoffersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Baran Uslu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Fors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Baran Uslu having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Åke Fors made a kick off. Kukova United's Anıl Baran Uslu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Isak in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Zé Simões got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Pavol Halko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sebastian Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredrik Isak scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anıl Baran Uslu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marek Macko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Pavol Halko came free, but Sebastian Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Åke Fors was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Degerfors IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kukova United the free kick. A collision led to Degerfors IF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Åke Fors hit a great ball. Degerfors IF made a substitution. Anthon Eliasson replaced Åke Fors. After a rather tough play, Degerfors IF's Åke Fors got a free kick in the 68th minute. Pavol Halko struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Sebastian Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kukova United. Luís Ventura kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Christian Håkansson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anıl Baran Uslu. Kukova United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonard Christoffersson during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kukova United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Degerfors IF.
