Vila Industrial FC's César Boldrini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Vila Industrial FC from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute, Ranko Toko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Roberto Cibran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila Industrial FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Cibran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldo Giovanelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuno Tavares hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Vila Industrial FC's Hugon Pilitowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo Giovanelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Cefero to make the kick off. César Boldrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Galo do Japi's zone, Hugon Pilitowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldo Giovanelli came out of the goal and Hugon Pilitowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli got control of the ball when Hugon Pilitowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. César Boldrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Valadares in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Chico Valadares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of César Boldrini. Vila Industrial FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chico Valadares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. César Boldrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico Valadares in the 79th minute of play forced Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper César Boldrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vila Industrial FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
