The audience was convinced that Fabian Magath's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frédéric Gout was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Ovidio Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Sauvestre in the 11th minute of play. After 30 minutes Cats and dogs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Götze who took care of the corner kick. PoWer SC 2K5's Michael Götze was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frédéric Gout in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raphaël Anselin during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st minute, one of Cats and dogs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cats and dogs. Cats and dogs:s Frédéric Gout showed great skill when he stopped Fabian Magath:s penalty. A collision led to Cats and dogs getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Dove Dalmas hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Magath to strike the kick off in the second half. Cats and dogs were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after PoWer SC 2K5's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augustin Boulnois took the corner. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
