In the 6th match minute, Kukova United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Gežo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kukova United's Matúš Kriššák got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Aldair Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Baran Uslu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kukova United's Romeo Hulberto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronaldo Giovanelli. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. A sloppy throw-in by Daniel Gežo in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galo do Japi's Nuno Tavares. 21 minutes into the game, Galo do Japi's Chico Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anıl Baran Uslu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Dagoberto Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagoberto Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chico Valadares was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Gotfryd came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavol Halko, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Cefero. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Hulberto in the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Kukova United's Anıl Baran Uslu got control of the ball when Wilfredo Cefero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Macko in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Macko in the 70th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute Marek Macko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Giovanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ranko Toko kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Kukova United made a substitution. Juraj Ďuračka replaced Richard Kaján. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldair Santos got free with Anıl Baran Uslu in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilfredo Cefero was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Galo do Japi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Chico Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Galo do Japi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chico Valadares couldn't finish the play. If Tomáš Bogdanovský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Penha. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
