When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Dorian Valladares took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dieguinho Paraíba to make any attempt to save it. Dieguinho Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorian Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorian Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dieguinho Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Dorian Valladares sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute Ren Jie Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Boldrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dieguinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Valladares in the 22nd minute of play. César Boldrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ren Jie Fan in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper César Boldrini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksandr Leonov in the 37th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Dieguinho Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Ren Jie Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Boldrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ren Jie Fan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dorian Valladares ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute Dorian Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieguinho Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vila Industrial FC's Evaristo Porto was substituted for Dorian Valladares. Dieguinho Paraíba didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Vila Industrial FC's Evaristo Porto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Vila Industrial FC's Teobald Pyczkowski got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Carl Ancelotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
