After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nikifor Vekov quite easily take care of the ball. After 67 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. JET-M's Lu Wei Zheng was substituted for Ren Xi Liang. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Di Stéfano came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Julio Quirze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Gustaaf Groeneveldt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 97th minute, but Nikifor Vekov got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving JET-M hanging dry this time. The JET-M players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
