Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 2 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Fernandinho Albuquerque sped through France's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandinho Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernandinho Albuquerque in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. When Squadra Sulista's Fernandinho Albuquerque in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renato Carvalho in the 15th minute. Eloy Casagrande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 16th minute of play. A hard shot 25 in the game by Renato Carvalho from a close distance when the talented Maxime Durand managed to make a qualified save. France's players were relieved. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernandinho Albuquerque's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Renato Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Squadra Sulista's Joshua Barfield to fire away a dangerous shot which Maxime Durand despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Renato Carvalho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Remy Dupuy hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Renato Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Squadra Sulista. Camille Baume hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernandinho Albuquerque to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Carvalho came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of France booed when Squadra Sulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto Gamarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, France's David Barbier tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, France's Maxence Durand got a free kick in the 58th minute. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Carvalho in the 63rd minute of play. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandinho Albuquerque went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute of the match Emanuel Galvão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxime Durand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Teixeira in the 77th minute of play. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandinho Albuquerque in the 78th minute of the match. Alexis Bruneau hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Carvalho in the 80th minute of play. Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eloy Casagrande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rdth minute of the game Yuri Teixeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th match minute, Squadra Sulista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Barfield to maneuver through the defense. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Eloy Casagrande made a huge save. Felippe Monteiro got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Renato Carvalho. After a rather tough play, France's Camille Baume got a free kick in the 98th minute. Fernandinho Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Squadra Sulista's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
