Mathias Ludvigsen kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Benicio Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Izel came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Theis Winther hit a great ball. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Valentin Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Freddy Cidro during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 22 minutes into the game, one of La Scaloneta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Valentin Porfiro went to the wrong direction when Chris Nygaard was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Valentin Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Izel came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Denmark:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Scaloneta:s goal. Keld Paulsen had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Eneko Vallines's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 35 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Valentin Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Gilberto Izel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Enrique Rozarius sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Damian Eduino hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. La Scaloneta's Valentin Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 57th minute of play. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Izel in the 60th minute of play. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valentin Porfiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Bertram Svenningsen slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Gilberto Izel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Valentin Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 81st minute of the match. Denmark's Olav Graversen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vinícius Junior in the 85 minute of the game. Bertram Svenningsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Porfiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertram Svenningsen ran back to his position shaking his head. Valentin Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 90th minute of play. Denmark's Olav Graversen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vinícius Junior in the 93 minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Denmark players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
