Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nunez Berasko took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Argentino de Banfield's Dalmacio Daunte got a free kick in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goal looked a bit too open when Pirmin Jäggi came free, but Leonides Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emery Heller in the 7th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, FC Wil 1900's Tory Pryor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Valentine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Tory Pryor notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Argentino de Banfield's Leonides Valentine. Leonides Valentine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lavan Querubin in the 18th minute of play. Leonides Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georges Gladu in the 20th minute of play. Leonides Valentine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emery Heller in the 31st minute of play forced Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Tory Pryor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pirmin Jäggi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pirmin Jäggi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Tory Pryor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raimundo Castulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tory Pryor to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Argentino de Banfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Rosalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Daunte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argentino de Banfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Wil 1900 the free kick. A collision led to Argentino de Banfield getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dalmacio Daunte hit a great ball. Emilio De Luca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonides Valentine. Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lionel Paly came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentino de Banfield's Raimundo Castulo. But to his dismay, Raimundo Castulo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Leonides Valentine was a little too slow when Téo Rosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-3. Emery Heller kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Pirmin Jäggi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Valentine came out and tried to block the shot, but Pirmin Jäggi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 64th minute. Raimundo Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Paly having to interfere. In the 70th minute Nunez Berasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Valentine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory Pryor in the 77th minute of the match. Leonides Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tory Pryor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Orti's late challenge caught a FC Wil 1900's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Orti helped the player get up and apologised. Alejo Orti kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Tory Pryor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Leonides Valentine made a huge save. When the match was over FC Wil 1900 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Argentino de Banfield throughout the match.
