With 16 minutes on the clock, Janik Vogt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 15 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Víctor Lermo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Donato Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Beti Roman in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Frank Sachs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 30th minute of play forced FORZA BRESCIA's goalkeeper Donato Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adalberto Ecija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adalberto Ecija in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Linus Schwerner made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FORZA BRESCIA's Víctor Lermo. FORZA BRESCIA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Caetano Mudarra in the 38th minute. Xorxe Perpiñán hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Adalberto Ecija got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Adalberto Ecija stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Adalberto Ecija tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th match minute, FORZA BRESCIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frechoso Rivera to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Germany were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adalberto Ecija to strike the kick off in the second half. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xorxe Perpiñán in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Xorxe Perpiñán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adalberto Ecija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FORZA BRESCIA's Bertin Gandia was substituted for Adalberto Ecija. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertin Gandia's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertin Gandia in the 67th minute of the match.
