The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Doug Traoré got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for FC Wypyszek. Artur Bînciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 20th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Joks. After 33 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miroslaw Hetman who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Doug Traoré managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 38th minute, Damazy Joks reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Vittori. The goal made the score 1-1. Wojciech Krzynowek hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Damazy Joks made the kick off in the second half. Grzegorz Soszka made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. FC Wypyszek's Artur Bînciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 59th minute of play. FC Wypyszek's Wojciech Krzynowek managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gianpaolo Mascari in the 63 minute of the game. In the 65thth minute of the game Damazy Joks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Joks in the 71st minute of play. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 73rd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Porziano Marchitelli heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. After a rather tough play, Italy's Gianpaolo Mascari got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Lenni Skensved made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Gomberto Picozzi. The corner led FC Wypyszek's Miroslaw Hetman to fire away a dangerous shot which Flavio Vittori despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Lenni Skensved in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Artur Bînciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Curto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Tytus Orling notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Italy's Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Italy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Wypyszek.
