Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Anfilogino Mannucci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luponero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luponero FC! In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Hungary. Antal Valentin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sten Lundgren. 0-1. Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Lundgren having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Luponero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Sten Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hungary booed when Luponero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin Eschendaal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Boros Benedek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luponero FC the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Luponero FC's Stan Mäder broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 22 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Antal Valentin. The audience was convinced that Achille Molinaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Sten Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Luca Toni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balazs Lajos in the 36th minute of play forced Luponero FC's goalkeeper Sten Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 38 in the game by Luca Toni from a close distance when the talented Fodor Daniel managed to make a qualified save. Hungary's players were relieved. When Vörös Henrik fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Vörös Henrik a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Vörös Henrik got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Luca Toni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sten Lundgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Lundgren having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Hungary's Takacs Tibor in the 55th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Sten Lundgren was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Luponero FC through an amazing save. 63 minutes into the match, Luponero FC's goalkeeper Sten Lundgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. After 66 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stan Mäder who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Davide Tonon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Luponero FC's goalkeeper Sten Lundgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. When Szekeres Tamas fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Szekeres Tamas a yellow card for diving instead. Szekeres Tamas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Toni, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Luponero FC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stan Mäder took the corner. Luponero FC's Stan Mäder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Amedeo Palumbo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Takacs Tibor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Antal Valentin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Hungary's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 96th match minute, Luponero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Molinaro to maneuver through the defense. Hungary played a much better game than Luponero FC and deserved their victory. The Luponero FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
