The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Makan Baksø in the 3rd minute. Nelsinho Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 9th minute of play. Gustavo Nascimento was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Guará FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. When Janik Vogt fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Janik Vogt a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. 20 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Gabriel Vieira. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiago Gabriel Vieira went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Tiago Gabriel Vieira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiago Gabriel Vieira. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Gabriel Vieira made a kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Tiago Gabriel Vieira took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Nelsinho Nascimento had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Frank Sachs's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 86th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Guará FC's Nelsinho Nascimento got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Frank Sachs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nelsinho Nascimento. The goal made the score 2-2.
